1) AYURVEDIC YOGA
Whether your goal is to increase body strength, flexibility, to improve overall health, to detox or to overcome anxiety and tension, Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy is a carefully-designed, artfully sequenced class to achieve strength, vitality and inner peace by means of breath-synchronized body movement sequences using the repertoire of both classical and contemporary yoga asanas, based on the scientific yoga teachings of Yoga Master T.Krishnamacharya. New to Yoga Students as well as seasoned Yogis are welcome in this class. The class is taught at a moderate pace, so beginners can easily follow, yet advanced yogis will find their abilities challenged since each asana is taught as a Pranayama method, with complete breath retentions and the three Bandhas(Energetic Locks) to faciliate Ayurvedic rejuvenation and an overall body detox.
2) MEDICAL YOGA THERAPY GROUP CLASS
This slower-paced class is focused on Yoga exercises to relieve Chronic Pain or to rehabilitate from injury. Appropriate for students who have never done Yoga before as well as for people with Chronic Back /Neck/Shoulder Pain, Migraines, Sciatica, Joint Pain & repetitive use injuries. The class also focuses on breath and body alignment safety to facilitate injury prevention and teach proper body mechanics/healthy posture.
PRENATAL YOGA
For pregnant women (spouses and partners are welcome, too). Give your baby the gift of yoga a relaxed and strong mom! No yoga experience necessary.
MEDICAL YOGA PRIVATE CLASS
If you have a serious medical condition, a private yoga class might be a better option for you. Working with the experienced medical yoga therapist one-on-one, a personal yoga sequence will be designed for you to follow daily at home, as a form of physical therapy, until you gain sufficient improvement in your condition to join a group Yoga Therapy class.
