s BROOKE DONAHOO
To me, yoga is a beautiful proccess of self-discovery, humility, and connection with others in your community. It forces you to take chances, look deeper into yourself, and look at the world and people around you in a different way. It can be anything from a physical practice on the mat, to a spiritually uplifting experience to share with others. It is whatever you need it to be.
v MEGHAN GILL
A dedicated yoga practitioner and fitness enthusiast, Meghan completed her teacher training at YogaWorks, studying with Ann Mosca and Jodie Rufty. She enjoys sharing her passion for yoga with both beginner and
experienced yogis. In her vinyasa classes students move through creative sequences, flowing from pose to pose with particular attention to the breath and the subtleties of alignment.
e CAROLINE GEORGE
Caroline discovered the beauty of Yoga at age 12. She attended yoganand's classes in the Kripalu institute to achieve her 200-hour certification. Since then she was teaching private lessons and yoga for kids. Her classes today focus on synchronizing body movements with breath to create a flowing mindful practice. Through yoga we can use the body to calm the mind and discover our true nature more deeply. She makes her students feel as comfortable and welcome in her class and to embrace the beauty of their individual capabilities.
d ALIKI
Aliki has always been looking for ways to improve her body and her mind. When she discovered Yoga six years ago, she finally felt her body and mind dance in perfect harmony through the use of the most vital force, the breath. Aliki’s path led her to San Francisco where she deepened her Yoga practice and earned her Yoga Alliance Certification from the Laughing Lotus Yoga College. Yoga has helped Aliki heal and improve her body and mind and there is nothing else she’d rather do than to share wellness with her fellow community.
c JOHN FORD
began practicing yoga as a means of stress reduction while he was a Police Officer in New York City. After years of studying martial arts, he loved not only the physical benefits of the practice, but the greater connection to his body and mental well being produced from it. After this first class he was hooked and eventually left the Police Department to pursue what he loved: Yoga. His classes are a careful balance of precise instruction and alignment with breath, movement, and flow to help deepen the students' experience of yoga. He also hopes to change the notion of yoga as being a women's only practice and introduce all the wonderful benefits to men. Like the drastic life change he took from Police Officer to Yoga Instructor, he hopes to show people that happiness is possible when we follow what we love
