The course covers Yoga theory and practice in the tradition of Yoga Master T.Krishnamacharya. The course will explore the energetics of Ujayii breathwork, Krishnamacharya’s original asana sequences , the 3 Bandhas, methods of breath-asana synchronization, Yoga Chants, safety considerations, Pratikriyas (Counterposes), when to use hatha or vinyasa sequences, principles of Ayurveda, and Yoga Therapy case studies. Lalita has dedicated over 10 years teaching, observing and applying the principles of Krishnamachary'a Method of Yoga. She has spent several years living in India, in remote Yoga Ashrams, including Rishikesh, the world's capital of Yoga. Lalita has been trained in Yoga Science and Phiosophy with the world-famous Master Teachers Swami Bua, Desikachar and Shrivatsa Ramaswami, and has completed Ayurvedic Panchakarma Therapy program with Dr. Lad of the Ayurvedic Institute. Lalita's is registered with Yoga Alliance as a 500-Hr Yoga Instructor. Her scholaship and experience with the Yogic Science, Sanskrit, Meditation, Vedic Chanting and Yoga Philosophy are expert and very comprehensive.
